Tools That Help Me Listen, Reflect, and Remember

Tarot has been part of my sacred rhythm for years. It’s not about fortune-telling for me—it’s about listening.

Tarot is one of the ways I scribe.

One of the ways I pause.

One of the ways I hear the voice beneath the noise.

Whether I’m pulling a card during my Sacred Start, journaling with the moon, or offering guidance inside Mother Oak, I come back to these decks again and again.

Here are a few of my favorites, each one with its own unique energy and voice:

This deck feels like stepping into a moonlit forest—mystical, grounded, and rich with animal allies. It holds powerful archetypal energy while honoring the natural world in all its mystery. My absolute favorite deck.

Best for: Daily pulls, Intuitive depth work, moon rituals, seasonal reflection.

The Moonchild Tarot – by Danielle Noel

Soft, dreamy, and drenched in lunar energy, this deck is like reading poetry under moonlight. It opens portals to your inner world and brings a sense of calm, even when the messages are bold.

Best for: Full moon spreads, dreamwork, goddess connection.

The Wild Unknown Tarot – by Kim Krans

This is the deck that pulls no punches—earthy, honest, and deeply symbolic. Its hand-drawn aesthetic and minimal color palette invite you to sit with what’s really there.

Best for: Shadow work, quiet mornings, threshold times.

The Light Seer’s Tarot – by Chris-Anne

Bright, emotional, and beautifully human—this deck feels like a conversation with your higher self. It holds both the light and the complexity of modern life, without losing its soul.

Best for: Daily pulls, intuitive journaling, Sacred Start anchoring.

Tarot for Kids – by Theresa Reed

This one holds a special place in my heart. I use it with my son as a gentle introduction to intuition, feelings, and reflection. It’s colorful, clear, and thoughtful—without being oversimplified.

Best for: Sharing spiritual tools with little ones, family rituals, connecting through wonder.

Sometimes the most sacred rituals are the simplest—like adding a small sticker to mark a tarot pull, a moon phase, or a shift in energy. These journaling stickers are a soft, intentional way to visually track your practice and infuse beauty into the pages of your planner or journal.

Best for: Daily card pulls, lunar spreads, and tracking tarot insights throughout your daily planner.

How I Use These Decks

  • Moon Magic: New and full moon spreads to check in with my energy and intentions

  • Sacred Starts: One card + a breath + a journal entry = morning devotion

  • With Children: Gentle card pulls for naming emotions, storytelling, and connection

Want to Start Your Own Tarot Practice?

You don’t need to memorize every meaning.

You don’t need a crystal ball or a velvet robe (unless you want one 😉).

All you need is willingness.

To listen. To reflect. To receive.

Choose the deck that makes your heart feel soft and your body feel curious.

Light a candle. Shuffle. Ask a question.

And just begin.
